Ferguson to host a Grand Opening / Trade show in Denver location with proceeds to benefit the Race for the Cure

NEWPORT NEWS, VA— Ferguson will host a Grand Opening and HVAC trade show open to area HVAC contractors at its new location in Denver, Colorado.  The event is free and will include representatives and products from today’s most recognized HVAC manufacturers and a complimentary barbeque lunch.  Giveaways, drawings, and special one day pricing for contractors will be a large draw, as well as an autograph session with of couple of the Denver Nugget cheerleaders.   They will be selling the Race for the Cure magnetic ribbons, and most importantly, a percentage of the proceeds from the trade show will go to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation’s Race for the Cure.

In addition to the charitable donation of proceeds, the associates at the Ferguson HVAC location in Denver will join together on October 7 to participate in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, a nationwide event that raises funds to support breast cancer research.  “As the leader in the HVAC industry, Ferguson is committed to giving back to the communities in which we do business,” said Charles Bartlett, General Manager of Ferguson Heating and Cooling Colorado, “several of our associates have family members touched by this terrible disease.  This tradeshow provides us the opportunity to give back to the community, build relationships with vendors and customers in the HVAC business, and do something to benefit the wellness of our fellow Ferguson associates, friends, and family members.”

The Denver location is one of three Ferguson Heating and Cooling locations in Colorado and is their newest facility.  This one-stop-shop offers the largest inventory of HVAC equipment and supplies and has a large “Express” Counter.  They supply the Coleman equipment line, sheet metal duct, pipe and fittings, and feature an expanded product offering including Bradford White water heaters.
